Alastair Fraser
I’m an energy and environmental economist at the University of Sydney. My academic work is motivated by a broad interest in how to effectively address climate change.
PROFILE
My research has three streams: how consumers respond to information and incentives in their energy use and conservation decisions, the importance of international transportation to trade and embodied carbon emissions, and how carbon intensity metrics can quantify climate transition risks in investment funds.
I’m currently a lecturer at the University of Sydney, and a relatively recent arrival from Canada.
