Rose Kilbourn
I am currently studying MSc (Hons) Law and Finance at Queen Mary University London, building upon my first-class BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree. With a strong background in research and a deep passion for sustainable finance, I am currently focusing my studies on sustainable investments and financial derivatives in my master’s thesis.
PROFILE
As a research assistant at Queen Mary, I had the privilege of working on a research project titled “Law, Finance, and Emissions,” where I gained valuable insights into the intricate relationship between legal frameworks and financial systems. This experience further fuelled my passion for sustainable finance and pushed me to delve deeper into the subject.
Currently, I am working on writing my master’s thesis, which explores sustainable investments and sustainable financial derivatives. I am deeply interested in the potential of financial instruments to drive positive change and address environmental challenges. By examining the integration of sustainability factors into investment decisions and exploring the complexities of financial derivatives in the context of sustainability, I aim to contribute to the growing field of sustainable finance.
Through my Altiorem contributor work, I am eager to engage with the community and actively learn from the diverse perspectives of fellow contributors and mentors. This platform provides a valuable opportunity for me to expand my knowledge, deepen my understanding of sustainable finance, and gain practical insights from industry experts.
