ANREV (Asian Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles) is a not-for-profit industry association established in 2006 and headquartered in Hong Kong. It serves institutional investors in the Asia-Pacific non-listed real estate funds market. Its core purpose is to improve transparency, professionalism and market information across the sector.
Mission and focus areas
ANREV’s mission is to act as a platform for investors and address key issues affecting non-listed real estate funds in Asia-Pacific. It focuses on enhancing transparency, promoting best practice, and providing high-quality research and data to support informed investment decisions.
The organisation also supports sustainability and ESG integration within real estate investment. It promotes sustainability reporting, develops ESG guidance, and encourages dialogue between investors and managers to improve long-term value creation and responsible investment practices.
Structure and governance
ANREV operates as a member-driven association with over 200 corporate members, including institutional investors, fund managers and service providers. Its strategy is shaped largely by investor members, who contribute to research and data initiatives.
Governance is overseen by a Management Board composed mainly of senior industry representatives. The organisation is supported by an Investor Advisory Council, Manager Advisory Council and specialised committees, while day-to-day operations are managed by a Hong Kong-based executive team led by the Chief Executive Officer.
Programs and offerings
ANREV provides a range of research, market data and analytical tools tailored to non-listed real estate investment. These include fund indices, market surveys, performance benchmarks and investment insights covering Asia-Pacific and global markets.
It also develops and promotes industry standards, including guidelines for governance, reporting and due diligence.
