The organisation focuses on integrating nature into clients’ business strategies across a wide range of sectors, including automotives & manufacturing, cosmetics & personal care, fashion & apparel, finance, food & beverages, forestry & agri-business, infrastructure, mining & aggregates, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, science & innovation, and watch & jewellery.
Structure and governance
TBC is led by a leadership team including Chief Executive Officer Tim Curtis, Chief Innovation Officer Malcolm Starkey, and Director of Operations & HR Amanda Woods. The organisation has been at the forefront of developing and implementing globally recognised biodiversity standards and metrics, partnering with leading initiatives such as SBTN, TNFD, the Nature Positive Initiative, and IFC to provide both technical and strategic input.

The organisation has produced over 100 pieces of sector-leading guidance, standards, research, and innovation. TBC also publishes insights and articles on nature-related topics — such as addressing sustainability challenges in complex supply chains — to support clients and the broader business community in navigating nature-related risks and opportunities.
