OVERVIEW
Corporate Knights Inc. is a producer of research reports and online publications. Its research and rankings focus on financial product ratings based on corporate sustainability performance, while the print and online magazine focuses on the intersection of business and society.
Founded in 2002, Corporate Knights produces content regarding “clean capitalism” which is defined as “an economic system in which prices incorporate social, economic and ecological benefits and costs, and actors know the full impacts of their actions”. Corporate Knights was instrumental in the creation of the Council for Clean Capitalism in 2012, a multi-industry group of leading Canadian companies dedicated to advocating economic and social policy changes that reward responsible corporate behaviour and remove barriers to clean capitalism.
The company is 100% renewable and the first print business magazine and research firm in the world to be a Certified B-corp.
Corporate Knights writes articles in topic areas including: built environment, clean tech, climate crisis, connected planet, education, food, health and lifestyle, leadership, mining, natural capital, responsible investing, social enterprise, supply chain, transportation, utilities and energy, waste, water, and workplace.
Some of their ranking reports include:
