In sustainable finance, DAWN collaborates with the finance ecosystem to develop frameworks addressing gender-based violence. They partner with institutions to design tools enabling investors to prioritise gender-based violence in capital deployment, fostering solutions from a gender and human rights perspective. Noteworthy projects include supporting Criterion Institute’s “A Roadmap for Public Equities on Financing the Reduction of Gender-based Violence,” encouraging global conversations about finance’s role in combating gender-based violence.

Additionally, DAWN advocates for increased efforts within the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework to prevent gender-based violence, addressing intersectional ties hindering gender equity progress.

In awareness and advocacy, DAWN partners with local organizations for interventions like HEAL for Survivors and Train-The-Trainer, aiming to change attitudes and prevent violence against women. They leverage the power of media, producing impactful documentaries like “Raising Men,” which highlights the transformative journey of teenage boys questioning traditional gender roles.
