Standard Chartered offers specialised banking products in Asia, Africa and the Middle East to Australian / New Zealand domiciled corporate & institutional banking clients. Standard Chartered holds an Australian Financial Services Licence and is authorised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority as a Foreign Authorised Deposit-taking Institution. The bank provides proactive business development services focused on emerging markets. Across all regions, field account managers (FAMs) work alongside product specialists to rapidly respond to the wide-ranging needs of client’s subsidiary operations.

- Help clients transition to net-zero by mobilising US$300 billion in green and transition finance.
- Reduce absolute financed thermal coal mining emissions by 85% by 2030.
- Standard Chartered expects all clients in the power generation, mining and metals, and oil and gas sectors to have a strategy to transition their business in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
