Headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria, Tobacco Free Portfolios (TFP) is a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on informing and encouraging tobacco-free finance. TFP currently has four board members and 32 members in the Global Advisory Council. These members are composed of medical doctors, ethics experts and sustainable finance professionals. TFP also works with 12 sponsors and partners, is a member of 9 other organisations and is supported by the contributions of 17 suppliers and 12 donations from other organisations.

The main focus of the business is to inform, prioritise and advance tobacco free finance for a world free from tobacco. TFP provides informative resources by redirecting the public to relevant news articles, conducting intensive research and writing comprehensive reports, hosting webinars and posting semi-annual newsletters to keep the public updated. TFP advances tobacco free finance through the Tobacco-Free Finance Pledge and the TFP Toolkit.

The Tobacco-Free Finance Pledge works in collaboration with financial institutions that have signed their pledge to implement tobacco-free policies in support of sustainable finance and to encourage other institutions to follow-suit. It has been signed by over 100 institutions and in 2020 has US$10 trillion total assets under management that are tobacco-free.
The TFP Toolkit is a comprehensive resource document that details the operations of the company and relevant resources and information. For example, it outlines a framework for tobacco-free finance, discusses the link between human rights and tobacco and provides case studies.

TFP aims to increase awareness of tobacco-free finance, inform and guide financial investors and ultimately achieve tobacco-free finance.
