Kay Byrne

Kay is one of Altiorem’s mentors based in Sydney. She is an experienced writer and editor, and has worked in publishing and investment-related roles for the past 20 years in wealth management, institutional funds management and investment banking.

PROFILE

Kay currently sits on the Investment Team of a wealth manager, where she is responsible for developing investment content for high-net-worth investors. She has significant experience writing for senior investment professionals, and has written on behalf of political figures on issues addressing climate change and the transition to net zero.

She has worked for a range of boutiques and global organisations in both Australia and the UK. Previous companies she has worked for include AIG Investments, AMP Capital and Deutsche Bank.

She holds a BA Joint Honours in German and Russian from the University of Nottingham, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional, and has passed the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.
