Craig is a Carbon and Energy Consultant at Pangolin Associates. Craig’s career covers multiple industries however most of his experience has been in the finance and energy sectors.
Within the energy sector Craig has had experience working across oil and gas exploration, public sector policy, vertically integrated energy utilities and renewable energy financing. In the finance sector most of Craig’s experience has been in risk management for several of Australia’s largest banks.
Craig is a member of several professional associations related to climate and sustainability including the Carbon Market Institute (CMI), the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), the American Geophysical Union (AGU), the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (AMOS), and the Australian Institute of Energy (AIE).
Craig holds a PhD in Earth Sciences from Monash University, a Master of Commerce degree majoring in Finance from the University of Sydney, a Master of Applied Science degree majoring in Environmental Management from the University of NSW, and a First-Class Honours in Applied Mathematics from Monash University.
Craig’s core interests include climate change mitigation through a business-led transition to a net zero carbon economy, sustainable finance and ESG.
