OVERVIEW
The Global Resilience Index (GRI) risk viewer is an open-access climate and disaster risk analytics platform developed by the Global Resilience Index Initiative (GRII), principally led by the Insurance Development Forum (IDF) in collaboration with the University of Oxford, UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and other technical partners.
The tool delivers globally consistent risk metrics—including hazard, exposure and vulnerability data—for “people, planet and prosperity”—empowering informed decisions on resilience and adaptation.
It targets governments, financial institutions, investors and regulators, supporting spatial risk analysis under current and future climate scenarios.
